From PML to HOF!

Four-time Olympic medalist Angela Ruggiero was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday. The ace defender was a member of Team USA’s gold medal squad in the inaugural women’s Olympic tournament in 1998. She followed that up with two silvers and a bronze over the next dozen years. But it all started right here, where the SoCal standout suited up for your Pasadena Maple Leafs!

In her induction speech, Ruggiero, a fabulous role model for all hockey players regardless of gender, reminded us of the power of believing in yourself: “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right.”

Watch her entire speech here, and listen for the shout out for your Pasadena Maple Leafs!

Congratulations, Angela, from all your friends in Pasadena. We couldn’t be more proud of you!

Help PML Special Needs Win $10,000!

UCT, a tremendous supporter of special hockey and partner of ASHA (American Special Hockey Association), is awarding $10,000 (first place) and $5,000 (second place) in their current “UCT Gives Back” video contest…and your Maple Leafs special needs team is one of the 10 finalists to win it all!

How can you help? We need your vote!!! You can vote once per day, per IP address here:

UCT Gives Back Video Voting Page

What does once per day, per IP address mean? It means you can vote from home, from your phone (turn WiFi off if it says you already voted!), from your work computer, from your Gran’s super old PC, from the library…and you can do it every day. In fact, we NEED you to do it every day…please vote as much and as often as you can, and encourage your friends and family to do the same!

We are the only SCAHA club currently offering Special Hockey as one of our programs, and we are the only program that we’re aware of that’s 100% free for all participants.

Carpe Bellaria

That’s Latin for “See’s the Candy”. We know, you love holiday puns as much as we do. But wait, there’s myrrh…

That’s right, it’s candy sales time! This fundraiser is easy (who doesn’t love chocolate?) and directly benefits our players’ teams.

Click here for the ordering package and start selling! All orders are Due by Dec. 6th.
